Southwest Airlines Announces New Routes for Spring 2019

Southwest Airlines announced the beginning of their spring 2019 schedule and the addition of new international routes from key U.S. gateway cities in addition to new domestic routes. The carrier extended its bookable flight schedule through April 7, 2019. Southwest continues to expand their offerings to Cancun from multiple destinations including Pittsburgh and Milwaukee.

More International Service

Beginning Saturday, March 9, 2019, the carrier will add new and returning seasonal flights on Saturdays between:

St. Louis and Montego Bay, Jamaica*
St. Louis and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic*
Milwaukee and Cancun
Pittsburgh and Cancun
Raleigh-Durham and Cancun
San Antonio and Cancun
Baltimore/Washington and Cabo San Lucas/Los Cabos

*Subject to government approvals

New Nonstop Routes throughout the United States

Southwest is adding new seasonal and weekly routes in March 2019. New Saturday-only flights will start March 9 between Cleveland and Tampa as well as Cincinnati and Orlando. Starting Sunday, March 10, weekly Sunday-only service will commence from Dallas’ Love Field to both West Palm Beach, Florida and Harlingen, Texas. Sunday-only service will also start between Houston’s Hobby and Lubbock.
