Grab Great Flight Deals with Black Friday Specials

Everyone loves a great deal and Black Friday specials can be equally great deals when available. A handful of US airlines have launched Black Friday specials that are available through the weekend.

American is offering three different specials, but only one of them is directly related to airfare purchases whereas the other two are miles and vacation package-specific. Today, through December 1, when you book a flight for travel through March 31, 2021, you’ll receive a promotional discount for up to 20% off future travel. It starts at 10% off purchases under $199 to 20% off purchases over $1000. Complete details, including terms and conditions, can be found at

With Alaska’s Black Friday Fare Sale weekend, you can find one-way fares starting at $29.00 for shorter flights like Los Angeles to San Jose. Plus, for the first time ever, if you use the Alaska Airlines Visa Signature® card during the fare sale, you’ll earn 6X miles on eligible Alaska Black Friday and Cyber Monday purchases.

You can pick your departure city from the drop down menu and all the available sale fares to various destinations will be displayed. When you click on the specific airfare, it will continue to the next page where the available dates for the sale can be found.

Frontier‘s Black Friday special includes fares up to 90% for travel through March 2021. Use the code SAVEBIG when purchasing airfare. Valid for domestic, nonstop, and connecting travel in select markets, Mondays – Thursdays, and Saturdays. Tickets must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. Eastern time on November 29, 2020. Complete details can be found at
