San Francisco Beer Week Returns in February

The 12th Annual SF Beer Week hits the San Francisco region, February 7 – 16, 2020, with hundreds of beer-focused events across the city and beyond. It’s a beer-filled celebration of craft brew and beer community, with educational, fun, and tasty events planned as far south as Monterey County, north in Sonoma County, and east into the Tri-Valley. Founded to highlight America’s home of craft beer, SF Beer Week has become an annual tradition for the Bay Area’s extensive network of brewers and enthusiasts.

The festivities kick off with the SF Beer Week Opening Gala on Friday, February 7 at Pier 35. Breweries from throughout the Greater Bay Area will be congregating to serve you the most creative and compelling beers the region has to offer. Expect tart, salty or sultry sours alongside subtle funk, hop bombs cloudy and clear, brawny barrel-aged brews, and a wide range of beer styles traditional and experimental—all the creativity and innovation that has made Northern California one of the best beer-producing regions in the world. Tickets are available here.

Whether you like your beer hoppy or sweet and malty, paired with food, or served while playing games, you’re sure to find a Beer Week event that suits your taste during the festival. To view a complete schedule of events and search for your perfect tasting opportunity, visit SF Beer Week here.

SF Beer Week is produced by the Bay Area Brewers Guild, formerly known as the San Francisco Brewers Guild, and working to preserve and celebrate the local brewing heritage. In addition to advocating for the craft brew industry, the Guild educates the public on craft beer through additional events such as Brews on the Bay, Meet the Brewers, and more.
